(dig ni-te) n.
is the earning or the expectation of personal respect or of esteem

(nu dig ni-te) n.
involves maintaining the expectation of personal respect or
of esteem during and after non personal forces have and
expect external and superficial qualities of you

new dignity wears an old coat - not ratty or anything, just worn

New Dignity

understands its position is contingent on the past. it's a little like how pleasant pretty girls, who weren't always viewed as pretty, continue to be pleasant after they are viewed as pretty because the prettiness is a current position, while pleasant is a coat. and the coat has been worn so long it fits great

New Dignity

is thankfully simpler than this. it only requires being good friends with your positive qualities. it only requires staying in touch with those good friends - through giggly teas, lengthy emails, spa dates, phone diaries, any communication smothered in your warmth and genuineness. it only requires complementing and complimenting yourself

New Dignity

when you have it, see it or hear about it, appreciate what you are witnessing
