not with the flock

that's how creature's of emotion travel this world, in a cloud of clearing condensation that never seems to clear, not completely. there are pockets of clearings and we are so anxious for improvement that we mistake it for more than it's worth. condensation gingerly fades back in sight and we remember the plight of our conscious, we remember we have chosen to make something better, and we pray better comes, eventually. is the flock darwin's model specimen?

not with the flock

will get you killed, will leave you financially erupt, will make you bleed so that another doesn't have to, will do a lot that isn't very nice to go through or think about going through. so, where is the glory of being not with the flock. why bother if it only leaves you an outcast, persecuted and forgotten, isn't it ironic people remember the names and home towns and age and look and deeds of bad people, but vaguely refer to people of noble deeds, people who should be the subject of bedtime stories, the same people who are the crowds and unsigned letters in texts

not with the flock

that's what my bleeding pen is about, it is about caring, it is about saying the obscene and absurd so that maybe a light clicks for someone else somewhere who either does or doesn't have the means to make something better but who does, regardless, have the potential. maybe that potential will fight to get out some day. everything is in due time. it is hard to believe how emptiness, how tears, how sighs, how disappointment and pure sadness, makes a person grow on so many levels, makes a person more attuned and cautious, empowers a person to betterness

not with the flock

knows that every second of every day some one some where suffers, and knows that for each suffering there is at least one suffering that can and could be avoided. but, it can't be helped wondering if those who are in the flock eliminate and minimize suffering by automatizing consumption of suffering.
so, in other words,
some one some where suffers. that suffering can be avoided by sending money, sponsoring a visa, etc etc. instead, some one in the flock avoids more suffering by not indulging the suffering his or her self. not very direct for the source of the suffering. very direct for the ripple effect of suffering. very direct in ending the vicious cycle - well, ending the vicious cycle that would be adopting the compassion of suffering and sharing it

not with the flock may be a bit much, maybe being with the flock is sympathetic enough
